About Vanesa
Alongside her work in addiction and mental health services, Vanesa has provided professional training, counselling and supervision services to private individuals, corporates, government and non-government organisations for over 15 years.
She has worked with a variety of organisations including Auckland DHB, Ngāti Whātua Orākei, Geneva Health Care, non-government organisations, Auckland Council, teaching organisations and manufacturing companies.
Vanesa brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her practice, including her previous experience as an actor. An awareness of body movement can be vital in helping people cope with difficult situations. Vanesa’s extensive knowledge base and multiple qualifications inform her practice, and she enjoys the variety of counselling, supervision and training.
Situated in Avondale, Vanesa’s home office is nestled among enormous gum trees and overlooks the Whau River. It’s a cosy sanctuary from which Vanesa enjoys a constant array of wildlife and the ever-changing vista that accompanies the coming and going of the tide.
